Permitting usually adds one to two weeks to the timeline before we start building, but it’s not something you need to worry about. We’ve done this process dozens of times in Southside Place and know exactly what the city requires. It’s built into our process from the beginning.
Almost none. The aluminum doesn’t need painting, staining, or sealing like wood does. A quick rinse with a hose a couple times a year keeps it looking clean.
The motorized components are sealed and built to run for years without service. If you have weather sensors, you might need to wipe them down occasionally to keep them accurate, but that’s about it.
We do recommend an annual check of the motor and electrical connections, especially if you use the system daily. Most clients handle that themselves, but we’re available if you’d rather have us take a look. The system is designed to be low-maintenance because we know you didn’t buy it to create more work for yourself.
