Yes, but let’s be clear about what that means. The cool mist system can drop the temperature in your Liferoom by up to 40 degrees compared to the surrounding air. That doesn’t mean it’s 70°F when it’s 100°F outside, but it does mean you’re sitting in 80-degree comfort instead of 100-degree misery.
The mist evaporates before it soaks anything, so you’re not getting wet. It works by lowering the air temperature around you through evaporative cooling, which is extremely effective in dry heat and still helpful even in Houston’s humidity.

Most of the time, yes. If you’ve already got a covered patio, pergola, or porch, we can usually integrate a Liferoom system into that existing structure. That actually makes installation faster and less expensive since the roof and support posts are already there.
We’ll need to assess your current setup during the consultation. The main things we’re looking at are whether the existing structure is strong enough to support the screen system, whether there’s adequate space for the motorized components, and whether the layout works for how you want to use the space.
If your patio is open-air with no roof, we can still build a Liferoom—we’ll just need to add a roof structure first. That adds to the project scope and cost, but it gives you complete control over the final design.
Some clients have partial coverage and want to extend it. Others have a solid roof but want to enclose the sides with screens. We can customize the Liferoom to fit whatever you’re starting with. The flexibility is one of the reasons this system works for so many different homes in Webster.

The consultation happens within a few days of your call. We come out, measure your space, talk through what you want, and give you a detailed quote. If you decide to move forward, we spend about a week on the design and engineering to make sure everything fits your home and meets code requirements.
