Yes. LifeRoom systems are designed to work with most major home automation platforms. If you’ve already got smart lighting, thermostats, or security systems running through a central hub, we can usually tie the LifeRoom controls into that setup.
You’ll be able to create scenes or routines—like having the screens extend and the mist turn on automatically at a certain time of day, or having everything retract when you leave the house. Voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant is also an option if that’s how you prefer to run things.
If you don’t have a smart home system yet, that’s fine too. The LifeRoom comes with its own wireless remote and dedicated app, so you’re not dependent on anything else. You can always add integration later if you decide to go that route. The point is flexibility—you control it however makes sense for you.
Most installations take between three and five days, depending on the size of your space and what we’re working with. If you’ve got an existing covered patio and the electrical is already in place, we’re on the shorter end. If we’re building new structure, running new lines, or dealing with custom requests, it takes longer.
We’re not rushing through it. The screens have to be measured and mounted correctly. The misting system has to be positioned for even coverage. The electrical and controls have to be integrated properly so everything actually works when we’re done.
You’ll have access to your space the whole time—we’re not tearing your patio apart and leaving it unusable for weeks. There will be noise and activity during the day, but you’ll still be able to use your home. Once we’re finished, we walk you through how everything works, test all the controls, and make sure you’re comfortable operating it before we leave.
